  1. YodaFlame@junk.com

The quality exceeded my expectations This table is fantastic. It does wonders for my back to be able to stand. Two things I can recommend for anyone with spinal stenosis.. First is get an exercise ball for a chair. I would pass on the Isokinetics chair (or other ball chairs) and get a standalone ball (way more movement with the ball by itself). Do your research on this, but its simply the most comfortable chair I've found. Secondly, get this table and stand as much as you can. Make sure you are stretching and moving as much as possible. Keep things changing and moving with your spine.I got the black color and it looks super nice. I expected it would be cheesy and plastic looking, but it is very aesthetically appealing. It doesn't take too long to raise up and down; I don't mind it at all.Lastly, you will want a good monitor arm. I got the dual silver monitor arm, although - I'm still getting it setup. I mention this because with standing you also want your screen at eye level so you aren't putting strain on your neck. You will definitely need a large stand or a monitor arm (even better), if you want the true ergonomic setup... Otherwise you will be trading one spine problem for another.

  2. AprilKing@junk.com

Certainly lives up to the ratings It's terribly rare to come across an item that has reviews so lopsidedly good. In this case, this desk certainly lives up to the hype. It is quick and easy to adjust, built like a brick, and looks quite attractive in a utilitarian sort of way. If you are like me and wanted to be able to set up the keyboard in a more ergonomic way, add the keyboard tray. Overall, this desk is simply incredible, and worth every penny.

  3. SeanCallahan754@gmail.com

5 Stars for a Beautiful Desk The desk arrived in about 5 days from the day I bought it. I had some help putting it together, but man was I surprised how easy it was. Within minutes, everyone in our office was stopping by and checking it out. This desk looks amazing and sounds whisper quiet. Goodbye extra 20 pounds!!!

  4. eddie@junk.com

So far so good! Assembly took just under 2 hours. Very well-made and looks and feels made of quality materials and workmanship. The up/down works very smooth w/o any noise. Responsive customer service: the box was missing assembly instructions but they promptly emailed me that. The desk rivals those 3k+ desks I've seen in other offices at 1/4 the price. Great service great desk.

  5. TGillespie@junk.com

Solid Standing Desk I liked being able to order the top size and color I wanted on this desk... You can adjust the size or width which makes it super adaptable. The lowering/raising mechanism works great... and it's as quiet as a church mouse.

  6. Amazed@junk.com

Stable, Plenty Tall, Solidly Built Recommended. I've now bought two of these.Stable even on a carpeted floor. No mechanical problems in over a year of use. Plenty of height range even for tall (6ft+) users.

  7. DK@junk.com

Outstanding! I was a bit hesitant to spend so much money on a desk that costs so much. When I started putting it together I got really excited and realized that I had nothing to fear. The craftsmanship is absolutely amazing. It's a bit of a process to put together but nothing that can't be handled comfortably by two people of any size. You can really tell the high quality by how everything comes together just perfectly. The holes, the screws. For anyone that's ever had to put something together, this in comparison is a work of art. And that's just putting it together. Once it's all set up, raising it up and down is very easy and smooth. It's all incredibly sturdy even with an x-large top on it. Everything from setup to everyday use is so fantastic that I find myself failing at my task to find one thing they could have improved so that this review would seem more balanced. Anyone looking to get a adjustable height desk should definitely consider this one even if it slightly expands the budget.

  8. HThompson@junk.com

Wonderful! My back and hips get tight and quite sore if I work in a sitting position for too long and, my feet don't like standing all day either. A mix of sitting and standing is perfect and your MultiTable desk allows me to do that easily. I ordered a second desk so that I can work at my computer at one of them and spread my research notes and sample drafts out on the other one...wonderful!

  9. JohnD@junk.com

Five Stars Works great & very well built.

  10. DekimA@junk.com

Great Desk, Excellent Service I bought the Moddesk after sampling the standing-desk work experience using an improvised height extender that I placed on top of my existing desk. I liked the upright work posture, but found my kludge-job inconvenient because it was too difficult to rearrange stuff when I wanted/needed to sit back down.I ordered the Moddesk adjustable height desk base plus a Medium-size fusion maple finish top. The product arrived in two boxes: one for the base and one for the top.Base assembly was easy - the instructions are in English and are more clear than the ones that come with Ikea products. Assembly can be handled by one person. I had the base together fairly quickly, and all the parts matched up well and came together easily. However, when I went to attach the desk top to the base, I found that some of the pre-drilled screw holes had been placed incorrectly; they did not match up with the places where the base should attach. Fortunately, the screws are long enough that I was able to attach them in different spots, and the top feels solidly attached to the base. Were that not the case, I would have knocked some stars off my rating. The fully assembled desk is very nice. It looks handsome and feels solid. Even when raised to standing height, it is very stable. I can lean heavily on it and the top does not move a vertical millimeter. Plus, the motion is smooth with a fully-loaded desk. One consideration for prospective buyers: the Medium-size desk top has pretty modest dimensions. Check those dimensions before you order to be sure you'll have enough room for all your stuff. The base can adjust to fit larger desktops and is also sold without the made-to-fit top.I'm pleased with my Moddesk so far, and I hope to get many years of work out of it.

Library was transformed Popular with our library patrons. Our students are in various medical fields, MD, nursing, pharmacy, etc. The adjustable is a big plus for a varied group of people.

  12. HenriD@junk.com

Quality product I had expected to raise and lower the table quite a bit, but almost always leave it up high for standing. I am so much more productive now (I do computer graphics and video work). The table seems quite sturdy, even up high. The only wiggle I find is when I built it (took about 30 minutes, by myself), and when I raise or lower it -- but it's not enough jiggle for me to worry about my large LCD monitor or glass lamp.Quality product, especially for the price, and I'm really enjoying the benefits of standing while working.

  13. JaneMayfield@junk.com

Very stable Bought this for husband who works at home as software engineer. We assembled it in about 15 minutes. Getting table top on was a bit more work, getting holes to line up, but everything fit together nicely in the end. Husband loves it. Has Mac laptop and iMac with large monitor on it. No problems with stability. He stands up easily for hours at a time.

  14. ErikL@junk.com

Love it It is easy to put together, had mine for about 6 months now and love it. I have a back problem, so nice to be able to switch it up from sitting and standing. Sitting it come to about 28 inches from the ground (sitting) and 4ft high (standing), so if you are 6 feet tall, this table is perfect for you! Very sturdy, mine rests 3 inches from a wall, so no big deal. I use this table as a workplace for gaming or as a work table. Love it. =)

  15. CAWhitewater@junk.com

5 stars! For all you desk blobs out there who are killing yourselves sitting for hours on end -- you need this desk! My back and neck and head were revolting and I could feel myself slowing dying (no joke) -- chiropractors, massage therapists and even homemade remedies couldn't compensate for what I was doing to myself. I did a lot of research and found this adjustable desk and can now stand half the day (I alternate between sitting and standing.) You can buy just the stand and put your own desk top on it, or buy it with the desk top included. I got the extra large, 24 x 72 inch., top directly from the manufacturer. The base and top come in different colors and you can mix and match. Overall, I am very pleased and believe this will become an industry standard. Millions of people are starting to feel the effects of sitting -- for years -- in the same position and this product will be a godsend to those need to stand and walk around. No, I'm not going to put a treadmill underneath it, but if you are that ambitious, you can! It takes about 45 minutes to assemble, customer service is great, and it is a solid product that should last for years. 5 stars!

  16. Emling@junk.com

You will love it from day one. I purchased this desk for my home office and it has been excellent. I typically spend about 6 hours or more per day at my desk, and I love that I now stand instead of sit. It is amazing the difference it makes to not be stuck in a chair all day! The large desk top offers plenty of work space and easily accommodates a large computer monitor, lamp and other essentials without feeling cluttered. The desk glides up or down and nothing on the desktop wobbles or moves. The whole design and construction of the desk work perfectly. I also purchased a monitor raiser (roughly $30) which raises the monitor height between 4" - 6" and keeps my line of vision in the center of the monitor when standing, which is important to avoid neck/back aches from bad posture or the tendency to look downward if your monitor is not high enough. I give this desk a definite A+ and wish I would have purchased it years ago. If you are even considering a standing desk, this is a great choice. Don't over think it, just go ahead and get it! You will love it from day one.

  17. SchneiderM@junk.com

Works great This is my standing desk at home and it works great. It's quite sturdy. It holds my 30" hd monitor without wobble.

  18. RobertAz@junk.com

Great value This is a very well made unit. Everything fit together with no forcing. The lift is smooth and easy. I think it is a great value. If you are reading this review, you know you need something that lets you stand part of the day.

  19. Mk@junk.com

Nice and heavy Good materials and well finished. Easy assembly and everything lines up well. I guess for $800 it should do all these things, but craftsmanship seems to be dead for most products. Also, I had a top damaged during shipment and their customer service was courteous and prompt. No issues at all. Would definitely purchase another one.

  20. JPierini@junk.com

Highly recommended Considering that I spend most of my time on the treadmill, the need to have a sturdy desk is highly important and choosing the moddesk pro was the right way to go. This desk is solid and stable. Highly recommended.

  21. LMeeks@junk.com

Works well Works well and is pretty sturdy, great for a standing workstation. I am buying another one to make a corner workspace.

  22. Wiley@junk.com

Versatile and well built This adjustable desk is pretty easy to assemble and is very easy to adjust the height to whatever you want it to be. I've bought two, one with the top that comes with it, and one with a separate 2" butcher block wood top from granger.

  23. LeeN@junk.com

Excellent desk I found this product through an article online, and I am glad I did because I've been looking for a good standing desk. In the future, I would just buy the base and create my own table top. Excellent desk.

  24. SandasC@junk.com

Great service! The desk arrived with damage to the top. I notified the company and sent them some pictures, and they sent a replacement out that day. Great service! I received the new top and having been using it ever since. I wasn't sure the desk that the raising mechanism was going to be smooth enough for me to have my two monitors close to the back of the desk without something to prevent them from falling off, but the mechanism is so smooth and the desk is so sturdy. I haven't had any problems, and I raise and lower the desk a few times a day.

  25. SGarrett@junk.com

Thank you Thank you for making the only affordable priced adjustable desk on the market!!! :)

  26. MattF@junk.com

Excellent product! Was torn between this and the NextDesk -- which is marketed heavily and compares itself to an Apple product in terms of design quality. It also costs an extra 40% or so.Price wasn't a huge factor in my decision, but I went with this desk and I'm 110% happy that I did. The laminated desktop is superb quality and will be way more durable than the NextDesk bamboo desktop. This product is a definite winner!

  27. PaulP@junk.com

Wonderful product and customer support. Although the first delivery of the desk top was slightly damaged after sending photos to customer service they immediately shipped me a replacement which showed up in short order. Upon receipt and inspection I began assembly. While doing this noticed that the construction was very sound and sturdy showing skilled craftsmanship. Assembly was easy, instructions clear and simple. After having worked at this desk for a bit I am very happy with this purchase and notice that at 5'-10" this desk easily adjusts to heights above what I would ever need and does make it better on the body for doing the creative work I do.Big "Like" for this product.

  28. MurmanM@junk.com

Exceptional Quality & Service This product has greatly exceeded my expectations. After buying the hand-crank Adjustable Height Desk or Table - Base Frame Only - Sit to Standing Desk Computer Workstation - Modern and Ergonomic for my wife, which she loves, I decided to purchase this ModDesk Pro table for my office. I purchased the Ikea Gerton table top separately, but the self-piercing screws that come with this desk should easily fit into any desk that's at least 1/2" thick. Note, you might occasionally see this item discounted even more on their website if you Google Search for "Multitable". I was glad to see that by ordering this off their website, they would ship to APO.This unit is built like a rock, very stable, solid construction. I've had it for close to 2 months now and I adjust the height several times a day with zero issues. The motors are smooth and won't spill your coffee, but won't take all day either. Also, it's very easy to make minor adjustments of a half-inch or less as you'll find yourself doing when you adjust your stance (i.e leaning against vs standing upright). I didn't know if it was possible to find a quality electronic desk for this price, but ordered it based off of the quality of the non-electronic ModTable and couldn't be happier.Since I've used both the manual and the electronic versions, I'd HIGHLY recommend getting the electronic. However, my 5-star review of the manual still stands and I'll go over the advantages of each, although they're not that much different. I'll start with the manual version since we owned that one first. It's less expensive by about $200-$300 depending on what discount they're offering at the time. Also, it's one less electronic cord and you don't need to have an outlet nearby. My wife likes to use it with her laptop that she charges separately and worried about our dog's tail knocking out the cord running to desk (Labs do that sometimes). Now onto the advantages of the electronic version. Although the manual version isn't necessarily 'difficult' to adjust, the electronic version is super easy. It's also quicker. Because of that, you'll probably adjust it more often than you would the manual version. Really, that's about it. Is it worth the $200-$300 difference in price? I think so, but my wife likes her manual version just fine so it's really just your own preference.Lastly, MultiTable customer service is outstanding! I encountered a problem with the electronic control unit. Specifically, the manual that came with this desk stated that the control unit was rated for 100-240v. So, after putting it together, I simply plugged it into 230v power in Italy that I often use for 100-240v rated laptops and monitors. Then smoke started pouring out of the control unit. I immediately unplugged it and then saw the sticker on the conrol unit itself - 115v only. It was frustrating, however, I share blame for not looking on the device itself (rookie mistake, I was so excited to test it out). After an email to their customer service, they admitted the error in the manual and sent out a new one (230v) free of charge. It was nice to see this company stand by their product! The company went well out of their way to make sure the control unit got to me in Italy. I can't say enough good things about them or their products, which I love. Customer for life!

  29. SammonC@junk.com

Solid...Does it's job I don't write a lot of reviews, but since this desk was so amazing, I thought I should.I got it to make my desk (with four monitors) a convertible desk allowing standing use. It does the job well. raised up it is stable . The motors work well. It is suitable for my law office.Assembly is easy and I am very pleased.

  30. PeterL@junk.com

Easy to assemble Only took about an hour to assemble. Use it frequently and love it! i have recommended it to a coworker.

  31. GMcDonald@junk.com

Perfect Solution for Custom Adjustable Height Standup Desk My doctor ordered me to start using a standup desk and I spent countless hours researching them. I was never able to find just the "right" desk at the "right" price. Then I came across the MultiTable Adjustable Desk frame that could be purchased without a table top. It was just the solution I needed. I had a local carpenter build me a custom cherry desk top with an integrated short return for an "L" shape desk. Was easy to affix to the frame and now have the perfect desk for my home office. After using it for 10 days my body has become comfortable with it and already I feel better standing to do my work (mostly on a computer). The MultiTable frame is solidly built, clearly using high quality materials and good assembly techniques. It is powerful yet quiet and the motion is exceedingly smooth (the sleeping cat who shares the desk barely opens an eye when I'm adjusting). The only thing that I think could improve the frame would be to have a controller that had a couple preset height memory buttons. Otherwise, I'm completely satisfied and can't recommend this product highly enough.

  32. RandallT@junk.com

Great Product! My existing desk top was 7 feet long by 30 inches wide, with an irregular shape that included a circular shape on one end for people to gather around. On the 30" wide end it was supported by a side frame to which I mounted a shelf to hold my computer tower. The other end, the circular end, was supported by a round pedestal. I removed the pedestal from the desk top, but kept the side frame attached, and mounted that on to the new base frame. It works perfectly! The electric drive for raising and lowering has plenty of power. And even with the irregular shape of my desk top, the desk is very stable in the elevated position. I can easily adjust the height for the optimal position for using my keyboard when I am standing, Then if someone walks into my office for a meeting, I can quickly lower the desk so that people can sit around it.

  33. JamesM@junk.com

Appears to be a great product I originally was going to give this a 5 star rating, as this appeared to be a great product for the price. I used an Ikea table top and it looked and worked great. But I've had it for less than 6 months and the up button is now totally non-functional. So I'm stuck in the down position. When I press the up button, I don't even hear the relay click. Down button still works. I've checked all connections. Will be contacting the vendor to see if they can resolve the issue.UPDATE December 2014: The vendor's solution fixed my problem (just hold the down button for a while). Now rating this a full 5 star. Very happy with the product.

  34. ThomasJ@junk.com

Great Desk, Excellent Service I TAKE MY HAT OFF TO MULTITABLE for their customer service. Yes, I would recommend it to a friend!

  35. Heltsey@junk.com

Best Stand Up Desk Best thing I have done for myself in a long time. The stand up desk takes pressure off of my back and spine...so much better than sitting in front of a computer so much.
